About payments, credits, and using the mushroom identifier.
Yes. You can try Quick ID with a limited free allowance and ask one free follow-up question about each identification. Advanced Analysis requires paid access. Choose a credit pack or an access pass when you need more.
No. Monthly access, yearly access, and credit packs are all one-time purchases. They do not renew automatically, and there is no subscription to cancel. You only pay again when you choose to make another purchase.
Both include unlimited Quick ID, Advanced Analysis, and Mushroom Chat while your access is active. Monthly access lasts for one calendar month, and yearly access lasts for one calendar year. Both are one-time purchases with no automatic renewal.
A 25-credit pack gives you 5 Quick IDs or 2 Advanced Analyses.
You can also mix both modes. Quick ID uses 5 credits per identification, and Advanced Analysis uses 10 credits.
For example, 1 Quick IDs and 2 Advanced Analyses use all 25 credits.
Neither mode uses credits while your monthly or yearly access is active.
Credits expire 12 months after purchase. Buying monthly or yearly access does not extend their expiry date.
While your access pass is active, your identifications do not use credits, but the original expiry date still applies.
Your unlimited access ends, and you will not be charged automatically. You can continue identifying mushrooms with any unexpired credits in your account.
If you do not have enough credits for the mode you want to use, you can buy another credit pack or access pass.
Mushroom Chat does not deduct credits. To continue chatting, you need active monthly or yearly access, or enough credits for an identification in the mode used for your result.
If you have no active access pass and your credit balance is too low, you will need to purchase more credits or another access pass to continue. Free users can ask one follow-up question per identification.
We generally do not offer refunds for monthly access, yearly access, or credit packs. However, if you suspect an unauthorized payment, experience significant technical problems, or have not used the mushroom identifier since your purchase, please contact us at support@mushroomidentification.online. We review these requests individually and will work with you to find a suitable resolution.
Results depend on the photos you provide and the mushroom itself. Clear photos showing the cap, underside, and stem give the AI more information to work with. Blurry images or mushrooms that closely resemble other species can make identification difficult.
Treat the result as a possible match, not a confirmed identification. Compare the details with a trusted mushroom guide or ask a mushroom expert, especially if similar species are suggested. Never eat a mushroom based only on an AI identification.
